Allan Burnett has a leading edge in this field, knowing only too well the consequences of snake bite. Having served 20 years as an Ambulance Paramedic, his objective was then as it still is
now - to save lives. Only now it is the lives of both humans AND reptiles. On the premise that "prevention is better than cure", Allan believes education is the key to instilling this fact. Allan Burnett is the reptile presenter for Reptile Awareness Displays of Australia. He has many years of experience with snakes and is highly motivated in the promotion of snake education and snake bite prevention.
Thousands of people every year in Australia come face-to-face with some of the world's most dangerous snakes. With many of these encounters occurring in our own backyards, this can be seen as an urban problem! Reptile Awareness Displays of Australia is doing something to address this situation. By offering a better understanding, our common sense principles and up-to-date first aid procedures can make a difference! Call Allan today on 0427 667 903.
Flair is the brain child of rider Jack Field who originally became interested in bikes at a young age thanks to father, Ron. Starting on a PW50 at age 4, Jack rode competitively at a high level in moto-trials however what he preferred was performing in front of a crowd. What started as demos at school fetes and bike shop sale days soon escalated to bigger events by word of mouth.
In 2007 Jack met his partner Rhianna, who grew up and worked in the motorcycling industry and also worked part-time as a freelance model. With big dreams they both dedicated the next 4 years to building Flair to be a reputable company capable of performing multiple shows all over Australia at the same time.
Today, Flair boasts the best international freestyle trials and BMX shows seen, with multiple setups of all sizes and a team of 10 Australian riders, Flair perform at the Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat show on Saturday and Sunday.
Australian Travelling Fishing Show
The Australian Travelling Fishing Show - Super tank gives the spectator a fish's eye view. This spectacular 15 metre long and 3 metre high perspex sided, giant mobile fish tank harbors natural habitat and loads of fish. You will see what the fish actually see from under water without having to get wet.
Brett Thomson and Michael Cooke demonstrate the many different types of fishing lures on today's market and will show how the fish react to them and the different techniques used by many of todays top anglers. Demonstrations are done from an aluminum boat with a Yamaha outboard on the transom, giving the illusion of fishing in the wild. All spectrum of the outdoors will be covered in the talks, from safety with eye wear and footwear, knife sharpening and electronics, to holidays spots.
Brett is a two time ABT BASS Angler of The Year and full time fishing guide. Michael is a seasoned angler with experience in catching all the different species of fish. Brett and Michael will conduct shows all day. Within their demonstrations they will show how to become a better lure user and will help improve your strike rate next time you're on the water. All shows are entertaining, exciting, informative and free!!
